Richmond Farm is a must-visit brewery in the Slate Belt Area for beer enthusiasts seeking variety. Offering an impressive selection of approximately 15 beers on tap, the brewery taps a range of styles, from a classic light, Luna’s Lite (4.5%), to the well-balanced Richmond Pale Ale (5%).
The Raspberry Ale, a 5.8% fruited ale, and Smitty’s Blonde Ale, a refreshing and light beer at 4.5%, stand out as our top picks and go to beers when visiting. These session beers are easy to drink and offer a smooth, refreshing experience. During our most recent visit, we tried the Watermelon Sour High, a fruited sour beer with a delightful fruit flavor and a mild sour taste for those not ready to fully pucker up!
For the newcomer, we highly recommend starting with one of Richmond Farm’s flight samplers, featuring six tantalizing tasters of their exceptional beer selection. This is the perfect opportunity to explore their diverse brews without committing to a full pour, allowing you to discover your new favorite beer. The expert bartenders at Richmond Farm are always available to provide guidance and assist you on your beer journey, ensuring a delightful and satisfying experience.
Food, Entertainment, and Beer-To-Go
Richmond Farm & Brewery presents not only a great beer selection, but also a fantastic food menu. Upon arrival, guests can place their beer and food orders at the large bar area. At the end of the bar, there is a self-service area where diners can obtain plates, utensils, napkins, etc. Once seated, guests can relax and enjoy their drinks while the food is brought to them. It is worth noting that the food is always served hot and in a timely manner.
During our recent visit, we enjoyed the Sheet Tray Nachos, a perfect sharing option. The taproom also offers many favorites, such as a Pulled Pork Sandwich, Quesadillas, and the Richmond Burger. For those looking for something different, we recommend trying the Winter Salad, Ancho Chicken Wrap, or Barn Burger. In addition, there are a variety of weekly specials that are offered.
Richmond Farm and Brewery offers a beautiful, spacious outdoor entertainment area with an impressive wooded backdrop. There are various lawn games available for patrons to use and enjoy. The taproom offers weekly entertainment, including live music and various events throughout the year. Additionally, there are two large-screen televisions located above the bar area. They also have a beer-to-go selection in four-can packs.
Hoppy Parents Tip- Looking for an event space to host a birthday party, shower, or retirement? During our recent visit, a section of the venue was transformed into a charming baby shower area. The space was beautiful and thoughtfully arranged.
Kid-Friendly Taproom
The staff is attentive and friendly to all guests, especially those with children. The taproom offers many kid-friendly drink options, such as craft root beer and birch beer, served in small child-sized plastic cups with lids, which prevented a big spill at our table during our visit. The kid’s menu is excellent, with classic favorites like hot dogs, grilled cheese, grilled chicken, and french fries, as well as various menu items that can accommodate everyone’s dining needs.

Bathrooms- The bathrooms, equipped with changing stations in both the men’s and women’s rooms, were well-kept and clean.
Hoppy Parents Tip- The bathroom sinks are at a slightly lower level, making them an excellent height for children (and some toddlers) to wash their hands independently.
Accessibility- The taproom is on a single level, providing comfortable and convenient maneuverability for all visitors, including those with mobility needs.
Parking- Ample parking is available for out-of-town visitors, with large gravel lots in both the front and back of the building, which should not pose an issue for strollers or wheelchairs.
Complimentary Wi-Fi- Complimentary internet access is available for all guests at the taproom, which is helpful for viewing their menu while waiting in line or connecting any device you may need during your visit.
