We started our Sherman Street Beer Company journey with two beers that stuck out on the menu; What’s Cookin’ Pilsner (5% ABV) and Hefeweizen (5.2% ABV). The What’s Cookin’ Pilsner is a delicious example of a Pilsner beer. It has a deep golden appearance and offers an enticing aroma with floral and herbal notes, thanks to the dry hopping process with Czech Saaz and German Hallertau hops. The taste is crisp and clean, with a balanced sweetness and pleasant bitterness. The mouthfeel is refreshing, and overall, it’s a delightful Pilsner worth trying.
Hefeweizen is a classic wheat beer, showcasing a hazy golden appearance with enticing clove and banana aromas. It perfectly balances wheat malt sweetness, subtle banana flavors, and pleasing spiciness. With a smooth mouthfeel and clean finish, it leaves a lingering sweetness and a touch of spice. Highly recommended for wheat beer enthusiasts and newcomers, it delivers on taste, drinkability, and an inviting appearance.
We concluded our visit to Sherman Street on a high note, indulging in a delightful flight of craft brews. Among the selections were the Happy Enchilada (5% ABV), All The Craze-Hazy IPA (7% ABV), an IPA that captivated our senses, the refreshing Europils (5.2% ABV), the smooth and rich Copper Lager (5% ABV), and the Session IPA (4.8% ABV), a perfectly balanced choice. Each beer gracefully pleased our taste buds, leaving us thoroughly satisfied with our exceptional choices.
Not into beer? (Shame on you!) But Sherman Street offers craft seltzers such as Tropical Cranberry (4.7%) and Mixed Berry (4.7%) if they suit your liking.

We also appreciate that they offer table service and a walk-up window in their beer garden area, allowing us to focus on our boys instead of waiting to order at the bar inside.
