Establishing its roots in downtown Easton in 1995, Weyerbacher moved into its current production facility and tap room in 2001. Since then, this Pennsylvania craft beer giant has been cranking out favorites like Merry Monks, Blithering Idiot, and the first Belgian-style quad brewed and bottled in the USA…named Quad.
Hoppy Beer Review
On a recent visit, we were reacquainted with some classics, but the real shining stars were some of the new selections from their pilot system. A few standouts on our recent trip were the Strawberry Mosaic Quad and Alice, a West Coast Style IPA. The Strawberry Mosaic Quad is a dark ale with classic Belgian quad flavors infused with a subtle note of fruit. Alice is an excellent addition to the lineup. At 7.2%, Alice offers that classic west coast dank with light citrus undertones. And fresh off the tap was their Small Batch Series Number 1, a Hazy IPA that is juicy and crushable at 5.6%.

Family Fun Taproom
The Tap Room offers various seating arrangements, including the bar, high tops, and German beer garden-style table seating. The newly renovated space provides multiple TVs with sports and beer menus. So wherever you are, you can see what your next beer is going to be!
Throughout the complex (we call it a complex because the place is huge), there are a variety of family-friendly game stations. There’s a classic basketball arcade game, quoits, and a pool table. There are also shelves stacked high with board game classics like Battleship. Our most recent visit was in March, but their outside area is very popular during the summer boasting bands and food trucks.
Food, Entertainment, and Beer-To-Go
Weyerbacher offers family-friendly hours, opening at noon. In addition, their Instagram is packed with upcoming entertainment options and a savory list of forthcoming food trucks.
One thing that sets Weyerbacher apart from most breweries we’ve visited is their staff. The bar staff at Weyebacher is very friendly and knowledgeable about their products and the beer-making process. Their product knowledge can help non beer drinkers navigate the waters of craft beer, suggest flights based on your likes, or help you find the perfect selection to take with you… Speaking of takeout, Weyerbacher offers a wide selection of bottled beer to take home and a complete lineup of beers available for 32 oz crowlers.
